The Mabou Farmers Market is an eclectic collection of local food growers, producers, fishers, artisans and crafters who offer our wares on Sundays from 11am to 2pm. Our regular season is from June 2 to October 13 at the Mabou Athletic Centre, 186 Mabou Harbour Road, not far past St. Mary's Parish Church. Then from December 1 to 15 we'll have a three week holiday season at Dalbrae Academy, Rte. 19 in Mabou.

We're at about the midpoint of Cape Breton's world famous Ceilidh Trail, in the picturesque village of Mabou. After visiting the market, check out beautiful West Mabou Beach Provincial Park or the famous Red Shoe Pub. Or take a hike on the rail trail that cuts through Mabou and spot some bald eagles. There's something for everyone in Mabou.

Come join us! Enjoy lunch or a snack and listen to live music. You can shop for seasonal produce and berries, eggs, meat, fresh baking, flowers and plants. You'll be able to find the perfect gift from a selection of leather belts, jewellery, hand-dyed scarves, cards, handspun yarn goods, wooden spoons, body care products, aromatherapeutic gifts and much more.

Best of all, meet the people who make and grow what you are buying.
