Punch & Jingles House of Ferments is a Cape Breton based fermentory in our 3rd year of operation. We specialize in small batch fermented vegetables and beverages. Our products are made by hand using traditional as well as adapted techniques to create healthy and vibrant tasting products. Our emphasis is on quality, flavour, and beneficial bacteria.
House of Ferments offers products ranging from spicy Mexican Cortido to Savoury Vegan Kimchi, to traditional cabbage sauerkrauts. We feature new and unique fermented vegetables including “5 Alive”, a carrot, spice and sesame blend, “Hot Pink” a fermented vegetable medley that’s bright in colour and flavour, and a full assortment of saurekrauts: dill, fennel, golden turmeric, and sea kraut. We offer a selection of kombucha as well as seasonal fermented beverages like beet kvass and pineapple tepache. We also have condiments including lacto-fermented hot sauce, dehydrated spice mixes, and Japanese sesame gomasio.
