While traveling the road as a musician, Cape Breton fiddler, Andrea Beaton, would always plan stops around specialty cafes, looking for that exquisite espresso experience. When she moved back to the island with her husband and their two small boys, she was determined to open a business that would keep her close to home and bring something she loved to the community of Mabou. The labour of love that is Beaton’s Delight was born in the fall of 2019. What started with a few specialty drinks has since evolved into a gathering spot to get your caffeine fix, homemade goodies and ice cream. All cravings can be satisfied, and for Andrea, no travel required.
