‘Cedar Bay Sage’ is the creative studio of textile artist and nature-enthusiast, Katelin Thériault. This booth will feature ethically-made, naturally-dyed clothing and wearable art, as well as a curated collection of plants for your home. All aspects of creation from plant dye creation and natural textile dyeing, to clothing design and sewing is done by Katelin in their Baddeck-area home studio. Reducing the ecological footprint of fashion is the main driver behind this creative studio. Hemp, organic cotton, linen and silk are used to create sustainable, eco-friendly fashion. Upcycled or re-purposed textiles are also incorporated into the designs in an effort to help reduce waste. Stop by to find a plant-inspired wearable art piece that speaks to you!
