Mary Ellen has always loved creating homemade items and enjoys making something new again from recycled materials. She started with the name Touch of Glass due to all her items being made of either fused, stained or beach glass. With her added passion of sewing, crotchet and knitting, she had to amend the business name to Touch of Glass and More. She makes pendants of various shapes and colours out of different glass, table runners for the various seasons and wind chimes made out of recycled bottles. She has small doll quilts with some matching pillows and some toddler quilts. She also makes dog bandanas in various sizes for your fur babies. She is able to do custom orders if you want something in a different size or colour. She recently opened a small shop at her residence so if you can’t make it to the Mabou Market give her a call to arrange shopping at her place. She is located in the beautiful Margaree’s along the famous Cabot Trail. She can be contacted at 902-235-7529. Stop by her table at the Mabou Market and check out something for yourself and those on your gift list. She has many choices of gift ideas, and can’t wait to see you at the market!
